All Saints Church (first) is dedicated.

The church is located in Lower Mills. The congregation was established in 1867 as a mission of St. Mary’s Church and met initially in American Hall in Lower Mills beginning in 1871. George Bennett is the first minister. With the support of Col. Oliver Peabody and his wife, Mary, the church moves to a new building (second) on Ashmont Street in 1893.*
